| Income Tax (after LITO) | -$4,621 | -$89 |

Award Minimum Wages
Many workers are covered by Modern Awards which set minimum pay rates higher than the national minimum wage. Awards are industry and occupation specific. Check the Fair Work Ombudsman website to find your award rate.
Casual Loading
Casual employees receive a 25% casual loading on top of the minimum wage to compensate for lack of entitlements. The casual minimum wage is therefore $24.10 × 1.25 = $30.13/hour for 2025–26.
